The Paper Cinema’s Odyssey: 2012, running time approx 70 mins

Co-produced with Battersea Arts Centre, this is our feature length adaptation of Homer’s cornerstone of literature. Raging storms and supernatural forces prevail over one man’s almighty quest to get home. Immerse yourself in a journey through the high seas, soak up the adventure and encounter danger and exhilaration.


The Rock Charmer: 2010, running time approx 40 mins

A collaboration between The Paper Cinema and accordionist Kimmo Pohjonen, this piece was commissioned by Inside Out festival. Originally designed site specifically to fit the Winspit Quarry, where it was projected on the 40ft cliff face, it has been adapted for the small screen. Round pillars of the old quarry, an old man wanders scratching at the mysteries of the rocks; what have they seen, what are they, what makes them, what stories can be told by these weather blown sentinels. Unwrap geological time; explore the layers of the rock.

Night Flyer: 2008, running time approx 20 mins


An original story by The Paper Cinema. Our hero crosses the night, following a mysterious train, in search of the lost flying girl.


King Pest: 2007, running time approx 10 mins

An adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘King Pest’ the piece was commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre for Punch Drunk’s ‘Mask of the Red Death’ show. It tells the  tale of two seamen, Legs and Hugh, and their escapades through London.
